ORLANDO, Fla. Darius Bazley Jersey . -- Trey Burkes last trip to Orlando was a forgettable one. He struggled through several summer league games just weeks after being selected with the No. 9 pick in the NBA draft. This visit was a more successful experience. Burke had a career-high 30 points and eight assists, Gordon Hayward added 15 points and the Utah Jazz held off the Orlando Magic 86-82 on Wednesday night. Orlando had a chance to tie the game in the closing seconds, but Jameer Nelsons layup rolled off the rim and was rebounded by Utah with just 3 seconds left. Hayward then hit a pair of free throws. The Jazz snapped a two-game losing streak and extended their win streak over the Magic to six games. Burke, who was passed over by the Magic when they grabbed Victor Oladipo with the No. 2 pick, said he wasnt trying to make any statement. "That wasnt my main goal, but I definitely wanted to come out and be really aggressive today," Burke said. "For me, Im trying to do whatever it takes for the team to win. I saw early on that my shot was falling, that I could get in the paint and get some good looks so I just tried to stay aggressive." Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said he thinks his young team took a big step forward after some rough outings. "I think the experience for this young group of guys goes a long way, to teach them how to finish games and how to stay in there," he said. "Even when we lost our lead there, they came in that fourth quarter and made some big plays for us." The Magic lost for the sixth time in seven home games. They continue their season-long six-game homestand Saturday against Sacramento. Nelson led Orlando with 17 points. Nikola Vucevic had 14 points and 14 rebounds and Tobias Harris finished with 14 points and 10 boards, a season high after he returned recently from an ankle injury. Burke (Michigan) and Oladipo (Indiana) were college rivals, with each getting the better of the other at times. This one went to Burke. Orlando played without leading scorer Arron Afflalo, who was scratched with an illness. Afflalo, who is averaging a career-high 21.6 points, had started every game this season. With Harris starting in his place, the Magic showed for a while that they are more than a just one-man team. They just couldnt figure out a way to slow down Burke. Oladipo guarded Burke on a few possessions, but was off offensively. He had three points on 1-for-12 shooting. "He was just comfortable out there," Oladipo said of Burke. "When hes comfortable, hes very effective." Orlando trailed by six heading into the fourth quarter, but rallied to a 76-69 lead with just under eight minutes to play. But Utah responded with a 9-0 spurt to retake the momentum. The Magic tied it again, but never regained the lead the rest of the way. Harris was 10 for 31 in four games coming into the day. He finished a modest 5 for 14 from the field against the Jazz. But he was a lot more active that he had been in his previous three games. He got involved on the offensive end early on against the Jazz and seemed a lot more comfortable, scoring six in the first quarter. Harris then faltered down the stretch, like so many of his teammates. "There were maybe one or two shots in the first half that we talked about, we thought were forced a little bit," Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said. "But besides that, I looked down and they had good shots throughout the course of the night. I dont think our guys were selfish at all." For Utah, Burke said he hopes its effort will be something the Jazz can build on as they continue their five-game road trip. "That shows where this team can be in the future. We have a lot of options," Burke said. "Pretty much everybody out there can put the ball in the basket, and once were playing together, thats when were best with it." NOTES: Burke has scored at least 20 points in four games this season. ... The Jazz have now had three 30-point scorers in their last four games. Michael Cage Jersey . - The Baltimore Ravens and tight end Dennis Pitta reached agreement on a five-year contract Friday. Vladimir Radmanovic Jersey . The win puts Arsenal four points clear of Everton in fourth place with two games to play in the Premier League, a position which would qualify the club for Europes top competition for the 17th straight year. https://www.cheapthunder.com/1381h-hamid...under.html . Marek Zidlicky and Andy Greene scored power-play goals 23 seconds apart late in the third period, lifting the Devils to a 4-3 win over the Bruins on Saturday night. The victory snapped a seven-game losing streak against the Bruins for the Devils (2-5-4). "I mean, we were due for some good fortune," Devils coach Peter DeBoer said of his teams start this season, but he could as well have been referring to the recent games against Boston. "We havent had a lot of it through the first 10 or 11 games," he said. "I thought the guys continued to work hard, we dug ourselves a little hole there early and considering the circumstances, it would have been easy to pack it in and we didnt. We kept chipping away and like I said, we were due for some good luck." Adam Henrique and Damien Brunner also had power-play goals for the struggling Devils. Martin Brodeur stopped 25 shots after a rough start. Torey Krug, Jarome Iginla and Milan Lucic scored first-period goals for Boston (7-3). Iginla and David Krejci each had two assists as Boston built a 3-1 lead. With the Devils skating with a 6-on-3 advantage after Krug was given a double minor for high sticking Brunner, Patrice Bergeron was whistled for delay of game and they pulled Brodeur, Zidlicky unloaded a shot from the point that beat Tuukka Rask with 1:08 to play. "Its a huge win," Devils forward Patrick Elias said. "Obviously we didnt start well." Green then scored the game-winner from the left circle on a 5-on-4 advantage at 19:15. Rask made 28 saves. New Jersey went 4 for 7 on the power play. "Well, obviously the power play -- four power-play goals tonight," DeBoer said. "I dont think weve won in this rink in four or five years, so we were going to need something special tonight, whether it was a four-star performance from somebody or our power play to click. We got some of that." Coming off a last-second win against San Jose on Thursday, Boston grabbed a 2-0 lead on its first two shots of the game against Brodeur. Krugs power-play goal gave the Bruins a 11-0 lead at 7:52 of the opening period when he fired a slap shot from just above the right circle that ricocheted in off a Devils player in front of the net. Abdel Nader Jersey. Boston made it 2-0 just 1:27 later when Iginla sent a shot from the right wing that caromed off Brunners skate and between Brodeurs pads. DeBoer then called time out. It turned out to be a small key in sparking his team. Iginla didnt think the Bruins were overconfident after jumping on the Devils early. "I think were confident (when) we have the lead. We think we can hold it. It was just the second period that we werent as good," Iginla said. "We werent skating as well. We werent first to the pucks like we were in the first period. You give them credit. They got better. "But the third, with the lead by one goal up until the last four minutes, it was the way we want to play that. Being at home wed like to put them away, but we werent able to and they hung around and they got the power plays late and they took advantage of it." It was Bostons third game in four days and coach Claude Julien thought it may have hurt his team, but didnt use it as an excuse. "To me tonight we had one line going and too many mediocre guys," he said. The Devils cut the deficit to 2-1 on Henriques power-play goal when he swooped in and scored off the rebound off Eric Gelinas shot at 11:24. But Krejci sent Lucic in alone down the left wing and he fired a wrister past Brodeur with 56 seconds left in the first. The Devils played a more spirited second period and had a handful of decent scoring chances before Brunners goal sliced it to 3-2 with 27.1 seconds left in the period. He fired a backhander that slipped between Rasks right arm and the post, trickling across the line. NOTES: Boston had won 11 of the previous 12 games against New Jersey, with the lone loss in April 2011. ... Bruins D Zdeno Chara was whistled for two minor penalties. ... It was the first of three meetings between the teams this season, the only in Boston. ... Boston is off until Wednesday when it plays at Pittsburgh in a rematch of last seasons Eastern Conference finals, swept by the Bruins. ... The Devils host Tampa Bay on Tuesday. ' ' '
